Life in Vermont (away from the ocean) started for us about 15 years ago. We left the rat race of New York City, founded a very successful wholesale business, and later realized how much we missed the ocean. We began the quest for the perfect Maine cottage and the perfect sailboat. We landed in Kennebunkport and have since explored most of the seacoast of Maine . Currently we reside in York Harbor, Maine with our Albin powerboat.

This brings us to the journey of how Latitude 43 was born. First our homes in Maine and Vermont fall on the same latitude (43). Secondly, for years we have commissioned and maintained our own boats and have been searching for the right cleaning product. Finally we decided to formulate one ourselves!
